Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet

See Nottingham Shakespeare Company’s performance of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ at 7pm on Thursday 15th February in Ruddington Village Hall.  Ticket prices start from £11.55 (for concessions) to £16.96 per person.

The company aims to bring quality, contemporary, accessible Shakespeare to fans and foes alike, particularly to people who – for whatever reason – have not found this production of The Bard before.

It says: “In a dynamic 90-minute rendition of one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies, the two star-cross’d lovers find one other amidst the blood and violence that surrounds them. NSC brings contemporary relevance and accessibility to Shakespeare’s timeless romance, exploring the role of gender in a fractured society, as they dance the lines between passion and obsession, love and sexuality, life and death. This is a show you will not want to miss – whether you bring your friends, family, or a Valentine’s date.”
